Modular Embedded Test Platform

ETS Embedded Test Platform

The ETS Embedded Test Platform is not a single test board. It is a modular test platform for ICT, FCT, ATE and automated test systems. Through control modules, acquisition modules, digital IO modules, relay/matrix modules, signal generation modules, special function modules and communication modules, ETS turns common test resources into a composable, extensible and maintainable embedded test architecture. ETS can be controlled by PC test software or configured for standalone operation based on project needs, making it suitable for production test stations, automated fixtures, custom test equipment and engineering validation platforms.

Platform Overview

  • ETS is a modular embedded test platform used to build underlying test resources for ICT, FCT, ATE and automated test systems.
  • Standard module categories platformize control, acquisition, IO, relay matrix, signal generation, communication and special-function capabilities.
  • PC control supports integration with host test software, station workflows, databases, MES and reporting systems.
  • Standalone operation can be designed based on project needs for automated fixtures, independent test equipment and quick field validation.
  • Modular design reduces repeated development, allowing test engineers to select resources around DUT test methods rather than redesign low-level hardware.
  • Can work with fixtures, Mass Interconnect, instruments, PLCs and industrial automation actuators to build complete automated test systems.

Module Category Navigation

Control Modules

Responsible for platform control, test-flow execution, module scheduling and coordination with host software or station systems.

Application Value

Control modules turn ETS from a set of boards into an orchestrated test platform, suitable for test stations requiring PC control, flow logic and standalone operation.

Representative Models

PICO-MATECHECK-MATE

Analog Acquisition Modules

Designed for voltage, current, temperature and analog status data acquisition.

Application Value

Analog acquisition modules bring key DUT electrical parameters into FCT and ATE systems for automatic judgment, recording and traceability.

Representative Models

DAQ-MATETMM-MATE

Digital IO Modules

Used for test fixture status reading, actuator control, station interlock and isolated input/output.

Application Value

Digital IO modules allow the test platform to coordinate reliably with fixtures, sensors, buttons, light curtains, cylinders and automation mechanisms.

Representative Models

DIO-MATEOPTO-MATE

Relay / Matrix Modules

Used for signal switching, test resource reuse, multi-channel measurement switching and four-wire measurement path construction.

Application Value

Relay/matrix modules help engineers connect limited test resources to multiple DUT channels, suitable for multi-point measurement, resource reuse and quick fixture changeover.

Representative Models

RELAY-MATEMUX-MATE4WIRE-MATE

Signal Generation Modules

Used to generate stimulus signals, control signals or specific test conditions in FCT and ATE workflows.

Application Value

Signal generation modules allow the test platform to apply test conditions to the DUT, not only acquire results, creating a closed-loop test process.

Representative Models

FCM-MATE

Special Function Modules

Designed for programming, DUT interface adaptation, dedicated test flows and project-specific functions.

Application Value

Special function modules allow ETS to cover project needs beyond standard IO and acquisition, suitable for automated programming, DUT interface expansion and custom testing.

Representative Models

PGM-MATEDUT-MATE

Communication Modules

Used for DUT communication, station equipment connectivity, protocol testing and production system integration.

Application Value

Communication modules allow ETS to participate in CAN, serial, industrial communication or customer-protocol testing while coordinating with automation equipment and host systems.

Representative Models

COM-MATE

ETS Platform Architecture

ETS connects embedded test modules through PC test software or standalone control logic, then connects to the DUT through fixtures, interface boards and automation actuators to form an extensible automated test system platform.
